FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NOVEMBER 20, 2023

Commissioner Grant Moody Endorsed by Former San Antonio City Council Member Clayton Perry.

(San Antonio) – Today, Republican Bexar County Commissioner Grant Moody received the endorsement of
former San Antonio City Council Member Clayton Perry.

“Grant Moody is the leader we need to serve us in Precinct 3 in Bexar County. A Marine Veteran who fought
for our country, a businessman, and the only Republican on Commissioners Court, Grant Moody knows how
to face challenges, overcome obstacles, and skillfully navigate opposing views to get work done”, Perry said
in his endorsement.

“I know a thing or two about being the only conservative representative in elective office from my 6 years on
City Council. You can’t just go in and force your will, you have to be strategic, diplomatic, and thoughtful to
get the work done. Grant is all of those things, and yet like I did many times on Council, he stands his ground
on the important conservative issues and pushes back with common sense solutions.

Nobody will work harder to represent you at Commissioners Court than Grant Moody. He has my full
endorsement and my vote, and I am encouraging all of you to get out and vote for him in this primary.”

The endorsement from Perry follows last week’s endorsement from numerous law enforcement
organizations. Commissioner Moody earned the endorsement of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Bexar
County, San Antonio Police Officers Association (SAPOA) and Combined Law Enforcement Association of
Texas (CLEAT), a statewide law enforcement organization. Combined, these organizations represent
thousands of individuals who serve in law enforcement locally and across Texas.
